Asus Zenfone Live Review

Asus has launched a new handset called the Asus Zenfone Live. This quad core powered handset is priced at Rs. 9,999
The Asus Zenfone Live is very light weight handset and made for selfie lovers. It is packed with decent snapdragon hardware SD 400, that delivers decent performance. Key highlight is the Beauty Live app that provides real time beautification for videos.
This handset supports 4G with Volte. The battery of 2650 mAh capacity seems quite less though one should get a decent battery life on a full charge.

Inside the box: Handset, data cable, user manual, warranty card and travel charger 5.2V/1A

Asus Zenfone Live Benchmark
Antutu: 27336 / 971
NenaMark2: 55.3 fps
Multi Touch: 10 points
Disk Speed: 110/36
I tried Asphalt 8 games played really well, no lags and no issues as such.
Rear Camera: 13MP AF with f/2.0 aperture, Single Led flash
Front Camera: 5MP with Large 1.4µm Pixel Sensor for 2x light sensitivity, f/2.2 aperture
Video Recording: Max FHD 1920 x 1080p
Overall camera quality is average. This handset can shoot FHD videos and the video quality is pretty good.
There is a special app called beauty live you can use that app to live stream video on YouTube / Facebook / Instagram. This app allows you to change the beauty filter in real time – you can choose from 1 to 10 pre-defined modes.
Sound was loud, no issues using Reliance Jio, in call sound was also good. There is no finger print sensor.

Asus Zenfone Live is looks good, give premium feel, is light weight and heat-up is well under control. Camera is average and so is the battery life. Not sure if Selfie lovers would actually will use the live video beautification mode. But if you look at the price of Zenfone Live – Rs. 9,999 it is way too pricey for the outdated hardware they have used
